IIM Sambalpur Admission Policy 2018: CAT weightage 55%

The Indian Institute of Management Sambalpur (IIM Sambalpur) has announced its admission policy for the upcoming batch of PG Program (PGPM). The selection process includes screening of candidates on the basis of their CAT 2017 scores (CAT weightage 55%), Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI). The candidate’s profile and other factors will also be taken into consideration.

IIM Sambalpur will follow the Common Admission Process (CAP) conducted by IIM Rohtak. The CAP is being followed by other 10 IIMs - Amritsar, Bodhgaya, Jammu, Kashipur, Raipur, Ranchi, Rohtak, Sirmaur, Trichy and Udaipur.

This year, CAP for admission to IIM Sambalpur is different. Where in WAT/PI scores were taken from older IIMs to select candidates, this year these scores will be taken from WAT/PI scores of this year only which means, only those candidates who have appeared in CAT 2017 are eligible for admission.

Cut off marks for shortlisting candidates for WAT/PI are given below:
