IIM Raipur completes PGP placements for the batch 2015-17 with highest CTC INR 27.2 lpa.

IIM Raipur has wrapped up the final placements for its flagship program, Post Graduate Program (PGP) in Management for 2015-17 class. Companies from varied domains reinstated their belief in IIM Raipur (Indian Institute of Management Raipur), owing to the diversity in academic background and work experience of the students. Backed by strong industrial relations, the placement season of 2016-17 witnessed an overwhelming participation from previous recruiters along with a host of new recruiters vying for some of the country’s best minds.
The average salary offered to the top 10 percentile, top 25 percentile and the top 50 percentile of the batch were Rs 19.4 lakh, Rs 17.1 lakh and Rs 15.5 lakh respectively. 

About 20% of the batch of 141 students secured PPOs/PPIs and more than 140 recruiters showed interest in the final placement process this year. The highlight of the season was the participation of 90 plus new recruiters. 

The students had an opportunity to choose from a gamut of profiles offered across a wide range of domains. Sales & Marketing yet again, emerged as the most preferred domain with close to 50% of the students bagging enthralling opportunities with some of the most prestigious organizations. Finance followed the lead with 17% of the offers made for this domain. Consulting and General Management closely followed suit with 13% of offers being made in these domains whereas 12% of the offers were for profiles in the sector of Operations & IT. Also 8% of the profiles offered were from HR domain

IIM Raipur has completed final placements for the 2015-17 batch, with a highest package of INR 27.2 lpa and a median package of INR 13.2 lpa. The average salary offered saw an increase of about 5% and stood at INR 3.10 lpa.
