SNAP Entrance Test 2019: Registration, Eligibility, Exam Date and Result

This exam is mandatory for those aspirants seeking for admission in management courses (MBA) offered by various institutions of Symbiosis International University. After clearing this test, candidates have to go through the GE-PI WAT process organized by each of these institutions for admission. Eligibility:

  • For SIBM – Pune SIBM – Bengaluru SIBM – Hyderabad SCMHRD, SIBM – Pune, SICSR, SIIB, SITM, SMC, SCIT, SIHS, SSMC, SSBF, SSSS Campus: Candidate should be Graduate from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes. Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
  • For SCMHRD MBA (Infrastructure Development and Management): Bachelor of Architecture or Bachelor of Engineering/ Technology in Aeronautical Engineering/ Agriculture Engineering/ Planning/ Civil Engineering/ Environment Engineering/ Water Resources/ Environment/ Chemical Engineering/ Oil and Paint Technology/ Petrochemical Engineering/ Plastic and Polymer Technology/ Electrical Engineering/ Energy Engineering/ Electronics Engineering/ Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/ Production Engineering/ Automobile Engineering/ Industrial Engineering/ Fire and Safety Engineering/ Marine Engineering/ Metallurgy Engineering/ Mining Engineering from any recognized University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade[45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Castes (SC)/ Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates].
  • For SCMHRD MBAAdministration (Business Analytics): Candidate should be Graduate from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% for Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribes (ST) or equivalent grade) and minimum two years full time work experience after completion of graduation. A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
  • For SIIB MBA (Agri Business): Candidate should be Graduate from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% for Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribes (ST).
  • For SIIB MBA (Energy and Environment): Bachelor of Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Bachelor of Science (Environmental Science) from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% for SC/ ST or equivalent grade).
  • For SIMS MBA: Candidate should be Graduate from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes or equivalent grade). Defence category candidates should be son/ daughter/ spouse of Defense personnel. Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes or equivalent grade) in the qualifying examination.
  • For SIOM Nashik MBA (Operations Management): Candidate should be an Engineering Graduate (Bachelor of Engineering/ Technology) from any recognized University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes. A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
  • For SCIT MBA (Data Sciences & Data Analytics): Candidate should be Graduate with Mathematics at +2 level from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance and with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes. A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
  • For SIBM Nagpur MBA: Candidate should be a Graduate from any recognized University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes).

Snap Exam Syllabus & Pattern:

The question paper will contain total 110 objective type questions. SNAP Test is an objective test. Each question has four responses (Only for Normal Questions). Candidate should choose an appropriate response. Each wrong answer attracts 25% negative marks for Normal Questions and for Special Questions also.

Register online on the website snaptest.org (from August 16, 2019 to November 23, 2019).

Note: Any Changes in the online application form (except name, date of birth, category and test city preferences) will be entertained only up to the closing date of Registration i.e. November 23, 2019. No changes shall be permitted after closing date under any circumstances. No change in name, date of birth, category and test city requests will be entertained once candidate completes his/her SNAP Online Test 2018 payment.

Upload your latest scanned colour passport size photo at the time of Online Registration for SNAP Test. (Your photograph should not be more than 3 months old).

Modes of payment for SNAP test

The candidate may pay through i) Billdesk Payment Gateway ii) Easebuzz Payment Gateway iii) Indian Bank Payment Gateway iv) Demand Draft.

Pay the SNAP test registration fee of INR 1,750/- as per the instructions mentioned on the Registration Portal (the link to the same is available on the Homepage) from August 16, 2019 to November 23, 2019.

iv) PAYMENT THROUGH DEMAND DRAFT:

Submit a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1750/- from any Nationalized Bank in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune.

Choose the mode of Payment as 'DD Payment' in "Make Payment" Tab. Take a print of the payment advice form, fill in the DD Details, sign and send it along with the DD to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat only at,

SNAP Cut-off 2018: Symbiosis International University (Deemed University), Pune (SIU Pune) will tentatively announce the SNAP Result in 1nd week of jan 2019. The selection process includes Group Exercise (GE), Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interaction (PI) rounds. The admissions will be based on SNAP 2018 score, selection rounds and candidate’s profile (academics, work experience and others etc). This year, SNAP Test has successfully conducted on Dec 16, 2018, (2 PM-4 PM).
