SNAP Entrance Test 2019: Registration, Eligibility, Exam Date and Result

Updated as on April 29, 2019. The SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) is a university level examination regulated by Symbiosis University. This exam is mandatory for those aspirants seeking for admission in management courses (MBA) offered by various institutions of Symbiosis International University. After clearing this test, candidates have to go through the GE-PI WAT process organized by each of these institutions for admission. Eligibility:

  • For SIBM – Pune SIBM – Bengaluru SIBM – Hyderabad SCMHRD, SIBM – Pune, SICSR, SIIB, SITM, SMC, SCIT, SIHS, SSMC, SSBF, SSSS Campus: Candidate should be Graduate from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes. Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
  • For SCMHRD MBA (Infrastructure Development and Management): Bachelor of Architecture or Bachelor of Engineering/ Technology in Aeronautical Engineering/ Agriculture Engineering/ Planning/ Civil Engineering/ Environment Engineering/ Water Resources/ Environment/ Chemical Engineering/ Oil and Paint Technology/ Petrochemical Engineering/ Plastic and Polymer Technology/ Electrical Engineering/ Energy Engineering/ Electronics Engineering/ Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering/ Mechatronics Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/ Production Engineering/ Automobile Engineering/ Industrial Engineering/ Fire and Safety Engineering/ Marine Engineering/ Metallurgy Engineering/ Mining Engineering from any recognized University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade[45% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Castes (SC)/ Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates].
  • For SCMHRD MBAAdministration (Business Analytics): Candidate should be Graduate from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% for Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribes (ST) or equivalent grade) and minimum two years full time work experience after completion of graduation. A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
  • For SIIB MBA (Agri Business): Candidate should be Graduate from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% for Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribes (ST).
  • For SIIB MBA (Energy and Environment): Bachelor of Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Bachelor of Science (Environmental Science) from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% for SC/ ST or equivalent grade).
  • For SIMS MBA: Candidate should be Graduate from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes or equivalent grade). Defence category candidates should be son/ daughter/ spouse of Defense personnel. Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes or equivalent grade) in the qualifying examination.
  • For SIOM Nashik MBA (Operations Management): Candidate should be an Engineering Graduate (Bachelor of Engineering/ Technology) from any recognized University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes. A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
  • For SCIT MBA (Data Sciences & Data Analytics): Candidate should be Graduate with Mathematics at +2 level from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance and with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes. A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
  • For SIBM Nagpur MBA: Candidate should be a Graduate from any recognized University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes).

Snap Exam Syllabus & Pattern:

The question paper will contain total 150 objective type questions. Each question will contain four optional answers; candidates have to choose the right answer. Each incorrect response will lead to 25% negative marks. The exam duration will be two hours (120 minutes). Scetion 1: General English: Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning and Ability. Section 2: General Awareness: General Knowledge, Current Affairs and Business Scenario. Section 3: Analytical and Logical Reasoning & Section 4: Quantitative, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency.

Register online on the website snaptest.org (from August 28, 2018 to November 26, 2018).

Note: Any Changes in the online application form (except name, date of birth, category and test city preferences) will be entertained only up to the closing date of Registration i.e. November 26, 2018. No changes shall be permitted after closing date under any circumstances. No change in name, date of birth, category and test city requests will be entertained once candidate completes his/her SNAP Online Test 2018 payment.

Upload your latest scanned colour passport size photo at the time of Online Registration for SNAP Test. (Your photograph should not be more than 3 months old).

Modes of payment for SNAP test

The candidate may pay through i) Billdesk Payment Gateway ii) Easebuzz Payment Gateway iii) Indian Bank Payment Gateway iv) Demand Draft.

Pay the SNAP test fee of Rs.1750 as per the instructions mentioned on the website for Payment of SNAP Test fee. (From August 28, 2018 to November 26, 2018).

iv) PAYMENT THROUGH DEMAND DRAFT:

Submit a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 1750/- from any Nationalized Bank in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune.

Choose the mode of Payment as 'DD Payment' in "Make Payment" Tab. Take a print of the payment advice form, fill in the DD Details, sign and send it along with the DD to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat only at,

SNAP Cut-off 2018: Symbiosis International University (Deemed University), Pune (SIU Pune) will tentatively announce the SNAP Result in 1nd week of jan 2019. The selection process includes Group Exercise (GE), Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interaction (PI) rounds.
