Updated as on, Aug 26, 2020. The Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) has released a notification announcing fresh dates for the CUCET 2020 exam on its official website. As per the schedule, the CUCET 2020 will be conducted from September 18 to 20, 2020. The entrance examination is held for admissions to undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes to central universities across India. Central University, State University, Deemed University, and Private University are the categories of Universities in India. All are governed by University Grants Commission or UGC under the control of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). CUCET Exam 2020 applications open on Mar 16, 2020 by Central University of Rajasthan at its official website.
Jamia Millia Islamia tops central universities in government rankings. Rajiv Gandhi University of Arunachal Pradesh scored 83%, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, scored 82% and Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) got 78%. All the universities were required to sign a tripartite MoU with MHRD and UGC for continuous evaluation. Jamia was the first university in 2017 to sign this MoU and present itself for performance evaluation,” said a statement by the university on Wednesday.
