Admission Criteria For PGDM 2018-20 at IIM Ranchi, 5 marks will be awarded to female candidates only.
Admission to IIM Ranchi will be based on the performance of candidates in the CAT, Written Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview (PI) and also based on their profile. The WAT and PI process will be common for the following IIMs, namely IIM Amritsar, IIM Bodhgaya, IIM Jammu, IIM Kashipur, IIM Raipur, IIM Ranchi, IIM Rohtak, IIM Sambalpur, IIM Trichy and IIM Udaipur. 1. Initial Shortlisting for WAT/PI Process An initial shortlist shall be prepared of candidates who would be eligible for WAT and PI process for admission to the PGDM 2018-20 Batch of IIM Ranchi. This list would be purely based on CAT performance and is expected to be announced around mid-January 2018.
2. WAT and PI Process WAT and PI process would be conducted at five different centres, namely Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai and New Delhi. The exact dates for the same would be communicated to shortlisted candidates in due course.

3. Final Admissions 2018-20 After the completion of the WAT and PI process, admission offers would be made on the basis of a merit list. This Consolidated Merit List (CML) would be prepared on the basis of following components and their corresponding weights:
Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) Admission 2018:
The Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) is the doctoral programme of IIM Ranchi. This programme has the objective of developing outstanding scholars for teaching or research careers at business schools/universities or management research institutions or careers in Government, industry, NGOs or for that matter any organization that requires advanced analytical and research capabilities. To accomplish this, the FPM will seek to admit students who have a strong academic background, are highly motivated and who have the intellectual curiosity to undertake original research and provide them with knowledge and research skills that can make them specialized researchers with sufficient depth of knowledge in the various existing and emerging management knowledge domains.
