SNAP Exam pattern changes

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) Pune. Candidates who are preparing for MBA and want to join MBA / MSc programmes offered by the Symbiosis International (Deemed University) and 15 colleges under the umbrella, have to appear for the common, mandatory Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Online Test 2019.

Symbiosis International University (SIU), Pune has announced the SNAP 2019 eligibility criteria. Check.

This year the online exam is to be held on Dec 15th, 2019 (2 - 4 PM) in 90 cities across the country. Aspirants for the batch 2020-22, can also apply to the new Business School - SIBM Nagpur which will have 180 seats.

The SNAP Test 2019 Exam pattern has been changed.

The test pattern has been changed this year. The total number of questions and marking scheme has been revised. While the no. of questions is reduced, time & total marks remains same.

Section ‘Special Questions’ from the sections - “General English - Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability” and “Analytical & Logical Reasoning” has been removed.

Current affairs section has been removed completely. 

SNAP Test is an objective test with Normal Questions which shall carry 1 mark for each and Special Question carrying 2 marks each.

Each question in the Normal Questions section shall have four responses. Candidate should choose an appropriate response. Every wrong answer shall attract a negative marking of 25% of the marks of that question. For Normal Questions (-0.25 of 1) and for Special Questions (-0.5).

Current affairs section has been removed completely. 

Note: - No change of test city requests will be entertained later by the institute. Test City allocation is made based on date of payment for SNAP. The earlier paid, the higher chances of securing a Test City of one’s choice. A candidate may choose three preferences of test cities of the following for SNAP 2019 Test.
