The National Testing Agency has released the results of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) on Saturday, January 19 and this time, there are 15 aspirants who scored 100 percentile scorers. This year, around 15 candidates have scored perfect 100 percentile of which four are from Telangana, three are from Maharashtra, two from Uttar Pradesh. Those who have not qualified this time, they have another chance in April to re-appear for the JEE Main exam. The application forms will be released in February. First edition of JEE Main 2019 is over and now the second edition of JEE Main 2019 will be held in April and online registration for the exam will begin on February 8. This is the first time, students have been allowed to take two exams and the best score will be considered for engineering admission. A total number of 9, 29,198 candidates were registered for Paper 1 (held for admissions in BE and B Tech in engineering and technological institutes across the country and also as an eligibility for JEE Advanced) in this exam.
The answer key of the Joint Entrance Main (JEE Main) examinations is likely to be released on Wednesday, January 16, 2019. Speaking to indianexpress.com, DG NTA Vineet Joshi said, “The JEE Main 2019 examinations was concluded today. It will take four to five days to release the answer key, the NTA is expected to release the answer key of the JEE Main examinations on Wednesday, January 16, 2019.”
The candidates who had appeared in the examinations can check the answer key through the official website. The online window to raise objections will be available for a week, the candidates can check the answer keys if wrong through the official website.
The five-day long Joint Entrance (JEE Main) examinations was concluded on Saturday, January 12. This is the first time the National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the JEE Mains which was conducted between January 8 to 12, 2019. The first JEE (Main) Examination was conducted by NTA between 8 th and 12 th January, 2019 in two shifts per day across 258 cities in the country and abroad. A total number of 9, 29,198 candidates were registered for Paper –I (B.E. /B. Tech.) in this examination. There were 467 examination centres across the country and abroad. A total number of 566 Observers, 254 City- Coordinators and 25 State Coordinators were deployed at these centres to oversee the smooth and fair conduct of examination. The Paper-I was conducted in a total of 8 shifts from 9th to 12th January 2019
