Focus on research is a part of pedagogy at RSB Chennai
Faculties and students are encouraged to pursue research and present case studies and papers on topic relevant to industry, at Rajalakshmi Business School, (RSB) Chennai. Every other day faculties or students of this boutique school can be seen presenting research papers and findings at various seminars and conferences
According to Dr. Thangam Meganathan, Chairperson of Rajalakshmi Educational Trust, “Outcome based research will play a critical role in the professional lives of management students no matter what stream of management one is pursuing. At RSB we are trying to inculcate this culture of moving beyond the curriculum and shift the focus from rote-learning to hands-on learning. The interactive approach is to delve deeper into industry related challenges, gather valuable insights and concentrate on strengthening the competency level of students”.
“Learning outcomes are very clear. Students get to know about business environment, market dynamics, policy matters. They come out with their own ideas on grappling issues the industry is facing today and develop on business skills while faculties can successfully impart a blended pedagogy of classroom and industry learning”, said Prof. Dr. Gautam Ghosh, Director, Rajalakshmi Business School.
