Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA) opens application for its Post Graduate Programme in 
Management for Executives (MBA-PGPX) program which is a one-year, full-time, residential programme.
Incidentally, all One Year MBA programmes came under the scanner of the Governing bodies - AICTE / MHRD. READ. While IIMs are positive things will go in their favour, the fate of One Year MBA is unclear as of date.
Recently, IIM Calcutta and ISB Hyderabad (do not offer MBA) also opened applications for a 1 year Program for the batch 2021-22.
The PGPX programme attracts working professionals from diverse industries, cultures.
For the 2021 - 2022 PGPX Programme, Application windows are open in three rounds. The last date for submission of applications for consideration for Round 1 is Aug 31, 2020, for Round 2, the last date for submission of applications is Oct 19, 2020, and for Round 3, the last date for submission of applications is Jan 4, 2021. No essays or letters of recommendation are needed at the time of submission of applications.

The Programme Fee for PGPX 2020-21 is INR 28,00,000 (INR Twenty Eight Lacs) and cost of International Immersion Programme (IIP). PGPX fee is usually a packaged/bundled fee which includes, for every student—tuition fees, books and course materials, accommodation, food charges and others.
