IIM Kozhikode Placement 2019: Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM K) PGP Placement 2019: IIM Kozhikode is the 1st IIMs to release final placement report for the PGP batch 2017-19.  Highest salary offered is INR 40.5 Lac per annum domestic and average salary offered is INR 20.7 lac per annum which is 16% higher than last year average salary (Last year average salary was INR 17.8 Lac per annum and total 178 company participated ). 366 students participated in placement, total 390 offers made. 107 companies participated in the placement with 21 first time recruiters.  Amazon, Boston Consulting Group, Deloitte, EY, Goldman Sachs, HUL, JPMorgan Chase & Co, Optum and PwC are the major recruiters. This season, the number of offers and the roles in consulting and finance domain surged as compared to the last year with 21 new recruiters participating in the placement process. Bain & Co, Citrix, Exide, Everest Management Consulting, HSBC Securities, IQVIA, Of Business and State Street were some of the new entrants. 

Last year, the mean and median salaries offered to the institute’s students stood at INR 17.8 Lacs per annum and INR 16 Lacs per annum, respectively. The top 50% of the students, who appeared for interviews with the recruiters, bagged an average CTC (cost-to-company) of INR 23.73 lacs per annum, which is a 13% jump over last year. Top 10% student got average salary of INR 32.9 lacs per annum and top 50% student got average salary of INR 23.8 lacs per annum.

30% students placed in consulting sector followed by 21% in Finance, 17% in Sales & Marketing, 16% in IT & Analytics, 10% IN Gen Management and 6% in operations Management. Highest 40.5 lacs per annum salary offered in operations Industry. 

IIM Kozhikode PGP Placement Report for the batch 2017-19

The 21st batch of the postgraduate programme of IIM Kozhikode has concluded its final placement for the graduating batch of 2017-19. The placements witnessed a 16% increase in both average salary and 18% increase in medium salary from last year.
