Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank on Tuesday announced the dates for JEE Main and NEET exams.

The JEE Mains 2021 Examination is being held in the country as one of the most popular entrance examinations for admissions in top engineering colleges of India (IIT/NIT/IIIT and others) in undergraduate engineering (UG) and 5 year Integrated programmes. The JEE Mains examination was held once a year and the conducting body was CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education). But, from 2019, it is expected that the conducting body will be changed and the new conducting body for JEE Main will be NTA (National Testing Agency).

JEE Main Exam Syllabus: JEE Main Jan 2021 will be conducted to allot seats to various candidates in IIITs, NITs, and CFTIs. That is why it becomes crucial to scoring some great marks in JEE Main 2020 to get into one of these above listed prestigious institutes. And that is only possible if you start preparing according to the syllabus prescribed. The syllabus for IIT JEE Main this year will remain the same, no major changes are expected from the new conducting body, NTA. You will have to cover all the topics / concepts of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from class 11th and 12th, which are part of the JEE Main syllabus. Along with NCERT books, aspirants can study from JEE reference books. It is also important to solve questions from past year papers of JEE Main to know what type of questions you can expect in the examination.

The language of the JEE Main paper would remain the same i.e English, Hindi and Gujarati (in some test centers).

  • To avoid much confusion, the syllabus of JEE Mains 2021 has also been kept the same.
  • Also, the pattern and the fees have been unaltered.
