Updated as on Dec 01, 2020. XAT 2021 Registration Extended till December 10. 2020. Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur is one of the oldest and popular MBA Entrance Exam after CAT.
XAT is accepted by 100+ MBA Colleges in India and approx. 90,000 candidates fill the XAT form.
Based on past trends, XAT Exam 2021 will be held on Sunday January 3, 2021. XAT is conducted annually by XLRI Jamshedpur and is therefore known as XLRI-XAT.

Eligibility Criteria : All Indian national candidates who have a bachelor's degree or three years duration or equivalent from any recognized college or Institute in any stream are eligible to apply.
The applicants who are due to complete their final examination by 10th June 2021 are also eligible to apply. NRI and foreign applicants can apply through the GMAT score (except DUBAI and KATHMANDU wherein the applicants have the option to appear in XAT 2021 examination).

XAT Syllabus : The syllabus is quite similar to CAT, comprises of various topics like Decision Making and Analytical Reasoning, Verbal and logical ability, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation and General Knowledge. There is no fixed syllabus as such for XAT but questions revolve around the above-mentioned topics.
Decision Making: Data arrangement text, Condition and grouping test, complex, case lets.
Quantitative Aptitude: Speed and Distance, Geometry, Statics, Graphs, Tables, Arithmetic, Heights and Distance, etc.
Verbal And Logical Ability: Para Jumble, Reading Comprehension, Fill in the blanks with Suitable answer, Critical reasoning, etc.
Essay Writing: Essay to be written in Social And Economic Events.
General Knowledge: Current Affairs, Sports, Awards, Politics, History, Business, Economics, Nation & States.
Admit Card: XAT 2021 Admit Card will be issued online around December end, which is to be downloaded from XAT website. Hard copy of Admit Card to be carried in exam centres.
