CUCET 2021. Fees, seats, placements & Chandigarh University Admission

CUCET 2021: Chandigarh University opens application for the registration for CUCET (Phase I) has been started from 14th Dec 2020. It will conduct its own university level exam known as CUCET Exam. The admission will be offered to candidates in various undergraduate & postgraduate programmes on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying exam. Other than the entrance exam, candidates will also be eligible to apply for admission through national level test scores.

Courses Offered: The various courses offered under UG & PG programmes in Chandigarh University are :

For Engineering course: Bachelors of Engineering (B.E), BE & M.E Honors in association with IBM, Bachelors of Engineering + MBA (Integrated) and Masters of Engineering (M.E)
For IT & Software courses: B.Sc. Computer Science, Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), Master of Computer Application (MCA) and Master of Computer application (MCA).
For Management courses: Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA), Masters of Business Administration (MBA), MBA- MBA Business Analytics and Banking & Financial Engineering
For Science Course: Bachelors of science (B.Sc.), Masters of Science (M.Sc.), Pharm Science – BA of Pharmacy, B.Sc. Physiotherapy, B.Sc. Medical Lab Technology, and M.Sc. Forensic Science & Technology, etc.
For Commerce course: Bachelors of commerce (B.Com) and Masters of commerce (M.Com).

Application Fee:

Candidates will be able to submit the application fee via online as well as offline mode.
For offline mode, candidates must submit the fee via Demand Draft.
Candidates will have to submit Rs.1000/- as their application fee.
The application fee will be non-refundable in any case.

CUCET Exam Eligibility Criteria

For B. Tech course:

Candidates must qualify 12th level examination from any recognized board or university to be eligible for examination.
He/ she must score minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST) in the qualifying exam to be eligible for examination.
Candidates must have as their mandatory subject along with any one from Chemistry/ Bio-technology/ Computer Science/ Biology in their qualifying exam.
Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam will be also eligible to apply for examination.

For MCA course:

Candidates must qualify 12th level examination from any recognized board or university to be eligible for examination.
He/ she must score minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST) in the qualifying exam to be eligible for examination.
Candidates must have Mathematics/ Statistics/ Business Mathematics/ Business Statistics/ Quantitative Techniques as one of the subject in qualifying exam.

For other UG course:

Candidates must qualify 12th level examination from any recognized board or university to be eligible for examination.
He/ she must score minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST) in the qualifying exam to be eligible for examination.
Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam will be also eligible to apply for examination.

For Other PG course:

Candidates must either qualify their bachelor’s degree or must be appearing in final year in year 2021 to be eligible for examination.

Chandigarh University Admission 2021 Merit List

The merit list will be prepared by the university separately for each course. Chandigarh University Admission 2021 Merit List will be based on the candidate’s academic records & national exams.

Candidates will have to access their merit list as per the courses they have opted for admission. Candidates whose name will appear in the merit list will only be able to attend counselling sessions.

Chandigarh University Admission 2021 Counselling

It will be mandatory for all shortlisted candidates to participate in the counselling process. Chandigarh University Admission 2021 Counselling/ Seat allotment will be held via online mode in the month of June 2021.

Rank allotted candidates will be only eligible to participate in counselling session. The counselling call letter will be made available via online mode. No candidate will receive it via post or courier. Candidates will also have to carry original & photos stated documents at the time of counselling for verification & submission respectively.
