The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) has announced the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering or GATE 2021 dates. The eligibility test of GATE will be held in Feb 2021. Challenges by candidates on Answer Keys with Payment of 500 for each question: Date: 2nd March 2021 1st March 2021 to 4th March 2021 (up to 17:00 HRS). GATE Result date is confirmed.
With two new subjects introduced, GATE 2021 will be conducted for 27 subjects including Environmental Science and Engineering (ES) and Humanities and Social Sciences (XS). The examination would be a Computer Based Test (CBT). Read Highlights of GATE 2021.

About GATE Exam: The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) exam is a national level competitive exam conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore and Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs - Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) on behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB)-GATE, Department of Higher Education, MHRD, Government of India. This year GATE Exam is conducted by IIT Bombay
GATE International Examination Centre: GATE 2021 Examination will be conducted in the following cities: Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), Colombo (Sri Lanka), Dhaka (Bangladesh), Dubai (UAE), Kathmandu (Nepal), Singapore.
A coloured print hard copy of the GATE 2020 admit card is to be carried and one valid id proof (in original) which can be aadhar card / voter id / PAN card / college id / employee id / driving license.
International registered candidates are required to carry their passport / college id / government issued id / employee id for identification purposes.
A virtual calculator will be provided to participants.
New Subjects In GATE 2021: The 2021 edition of GATE exam will see some changes, including introduction of two new subjects -- Environmental Science and Engineering, or ES, and Humanities and Social Science, or XS.

Eligibility for GATE Exam 2021:
Maximum Two papers in GATE 2021 : A candidate may appear either in ONE or TWO subject papers. For candidates who choose Two papers, the combination must be from the approved list of combinations and subject to the availability of infrastructure and date.

The Joint Admission Test for M.Sc:
JAM is an all-India examination conducted in eight zones across the country jointly by Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore and seven Indian Institutes of Technology (at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras & Roorkee) on behalf of Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India. JAM is for admission to M.Sc. (Two year), Joint M.Sc.- Ph.D., Dual Degree and other post-bachelor degree programmes in Science at IISc and IITs.

JAM is an all India Entrance examination for admission to M.Sc. (Two Year), Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree and other Post-Bachelor's Degree programmes at the IITs and to the Integrated Ph.D. programmes at IISc.
