IISWBM MBA PS TLM (Transportation and logistics management) GD - A passage about the city transport in Kolkata followed by a question to discuss- what are the changes to be done in the transport system in Kolkata, mostly focussing on the traffic control. [they were not testing how much I knew but how I approached the question] I answered a wrong one - to which he replied that’s a wrong guess- I said- I will delve deeper into it to be fully aware. Converted MBA Colleges Interviews Experience KJ SOM Interview- Asked me to choose from a bunch of slips to say about one topic- AI taking up jobs in the future (Just a minute) Panel 1- Asked me of my academics – continued to how can I manage from a non finance/ non commerce background into the field of business. Panel 2- Any courses have I done? About the practical experience of HR, asked me about the sectors of HR, Told about learning and development, talent acquisition, payroll, employee laws. Panel 3- asked some mathematical calculations (quick ones). Panel 2- As I mentioned sudoku, asked me elemental questions. About Author: I pursued a B.A. in English during the COVID-19 pandemic, completing three semesters online. My interest in literature was inspired by my grandfather and nurtured by my professors, which led me to perform well in CUET PG and join a premier institute for a Masters degree in English. Despite my background in English literature, which may seem unrelated to an MBA, my role as a placement coordinator at the English and Foreign Languages University exposed me to corporate interactions and helped me discover my potential. This experience motivated me to prepare for CAT. While I was initially inclined towards HR, interview experiences revealed my growing interest in marketing. Alongside academics, I actively participated in drama and recently developed an interest in Sudoku. I now aspire to pursue an MBA and build a career in the corporate world.
