My CLAT 2021 experience - Sahil Bhachawat D.P.S R K Puram, Delhi

Sahil Bhachawat, D.P.S R K Puram, Delhi. Yesterday, Fri Jul 23rd, 2021, was the day for which I, and a lot of other students like me, had been preparing throughout the year. While most exams are now being held in online remote proctored mode CLAT 2021 exam held as in pen and paper format. The paper had 150 MCQ questions, which had to be answered in 120 minutes, which is less than a minute for allocated for each question. The exam consisted of 5 sections - English language, General knowledge, Legal reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Maths. My examination centre in New Delhi tried managing to the best of their abilities and conducted in an orderly manner with all the COVID Protocols and social distancing norms being followed. Pattern and Colleges under CLAT At the entry gate of the centre temperature of each student was being checked and in the process students were made to stand in the heat of the sun and in this humid sultry Delhi weather for around 10 minutes before they could get entry. Students whose temperature was beyond the permissible limit as per the authorities, were made to sit in a separate room. In one classroom there were around 25 students,each having his or her own desk. Bells rang after regular intervals to help students keep track of time. I found the exam moderately easy, it was the GK section that was the toughest. The type of questions in GK paper were the exactly opposite in nature, when compared to the questions that were set in GK paper last year. Also this time the GK paper was objective type as opposed to the CLAT 2020 paper, where the questions were subjective type in nature. English and Logical Reasoning were easy. Legal Reasoning was a bit lengthy, but doable. Maths was a bit complicated and tricky. Overall it was a good experience. Some of the things could have been better in terms of management.
