Updated as on July 27, 2020. Xavier General Management Aptitude Test (X-GMT) is an online management entrance test being conducted by Xavier University Bhubaneswar (XUB). As per trends exam is being held in the 4th week of Jan 2021.
Xavier University is a Jesuit, Catholic university located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. It was authorized by the Odisha Legislative Assembly in 2013. Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar, established by the Jesuits in 1987, is now affiliated to the University. The entrance test is a gateway for admission to various MBA programs offered at The Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB). X-GMT (Xavier General Management Aptitude Test) to be conducted by Xavier University at Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai. Candidates will get the option of choosing their preferred exam centers while filling the application form.

Pattern of X-GMT 2021
X-GMT 2021 will be a computer-based online test.
The duration of the exam will be 120 minutes & the medium of the test is in English language for all the candidates. Candidates need to attempt multiple choice questions (MCQs) that will be spread across 4 sections, namely, Quantitative Aptitude (QA), Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning (VA & LR), Data Interpretation (DI), Emotional Quotient and General Awareness (EQ & GA).
The four sections during the test will appear in random sequence and there will be sectional time limits, which means a candidate will not know the next section and must complete a section in a given time. If a candidate finishes any section early, (s)he must wait for the next section to begin and can’t go back to a completed section.
The type and nature of questions will be like the other prominent entrance tests for management education.
There will be negative marks for incorrect answers.

X-GMT 2021 eligibility is as follows:
The candidate must hold a three-year Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline, and must have secured at least 55% marks in aggregate (60% for MBA-UMG), from a recognised University
GATE scores can be accepted for MBA-UMG only
Candidates who have secured the 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in their undergraduate program can apply directly to MBA-RM and the MBA-UMG programs, without having a valid CAT/XAT/GMAT/XGMT score. Along with the application, the candidate needs to attach a certificate from the Head of the Institution stating their position. However, the candidate will have to attend the Personal Interview
Admission of candidates who fail to complete all the requirements for obtaining degree before June 15, 2020 will automatically be canceled
A candidate who joins a program in the University will not be permitted to sit for any examination of any other institution or agency.
