IPU CET Exam

IPU CET Exam 2021. IPU CET is the shortened form of the Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test. Candidates striving admission to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University through IPU CET 2021 will be admitted either through National Level Test conducted or through Common Entrance Tests (CET) conducted by the University or on the merit of the qualifying degrees. There shall be no CET for admissions to BTech/BA LLB/BBA LLB/LLM & BArch programme.

Candidates are required to meet the eligibility criteria of IPU CET 2021 for BTech admissions. Before filling out the application form, the candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria so that all of the requirements are met. Candidates who are blind (including colour blind), deaf and/or dumb will not be eligible for BTech admission through IPU CET 2021. B. Tech

• Pass in Class 12 examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Candidate should have passed English as a subject of study (core/ elective/ functional) in the qualifying examination.
• Appeared in JEE Main Paper 1 conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) and admission would be based on the merit list/rank list.

B. Tech (Biotechnology)

• Pass in Class 12 examination with a minimum of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology/Biotechnology.
• Appeared in the IPU CET and their name should be in the merit list/rank list.

Lateral Entry B. Tech (Diploma)

• Candidates should be pass three years diploma in the relevant subject with a minimum of 60% marks.
• Appeared in the IPU CET and their name should be in the merit list/rank list.

Lateral Entry BTech (BSc)

• Candidates should be pass in BSc with Mathematics as a subject scoring a minimum of 60% marks from any recognized University.
• Appeared in the IPU CET and their name should be in the merit list/rank list.

Application form – In the first step, the candidates will have to fill and submit the application form of IPU CET 2021. All of the required personal, academic and contact details have to be entered in the application form. Candidates will also have to submit their JEE Main scores and other details. The required fee has to be paid in online mode and the candidates will have to upload the required documents.

Merit list – The authorities will consider the JEE Main scores of the registered candidates while preparing the merit list of IPU CET 2021. Candidates who are listed on the merit list will be able to participate in the counselling process and have higher chances of admissions.

Counselling – The authorities will conduct the counselling process of IPU CET 2021. Allotment of seats will be done on the basis of merit, preferences and availability of seats. Candidates who are allotted will have to complete the admission process before the final date to confirm their seat.
