IIT Bombay is the coordinating institute for COAP 2022, and the participating institutes (23 of them) are: IISc Bangalore, IIT Bhilai, IIT Bhubaneshwar, IIT BHU, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Dharwad, IIT Goa, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Indore, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, IIT Jammu, IIT Jodhpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, IIT Mandi, IIT Palakkad, IIT Patna, IIT Roorkee, IIT Ropar and IIT Tirupati. Registration for COAP 2022 is open for candidates.
CCMT for NIT M. Tech Admission 2022
Similar to IIM’s CAP, COAP is an initiative by IITs for the common admissions to M Tech in all the 21 IITs across the country.

Students aspiring for M. Tech admission in IITs have to register for Common Offer Acceptance Portal, commonly known as COAP. Students also need to apply to the respective institute in which admission is desired as COAP is only the platform where students sees his admission offers from the institutes in which he/she has applied for admission. Candidate can apply Online. Once registration is open.
About COAP : The Common Offer Acceptance Portal or COAP was initiated in 2017 to provide a common platform for the registered candidates seeking admission to make the most preferred choice for admission into an MTech Programme in participating Institutes, or job offer from participating Public Sector Units (PSU’s). While eight institutes (IIT Bombay, IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Indore, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, IIT Roorkee) were involved in COAP2017, over the years, more than twenty two institutes and a PSU (NPCIL) have come together and participated in COAP for filling their M. Tech. seats or job vacancies. Every year, the GATE organizing institute of the preceding year acts as the coordinating institute for COAP.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Candidates must be Indian Nationals.
2. Candidates should have valid GATE scores (Qualified in GATE 2022/2021/2020).
Note:
- COAP is not an Application Portal for M.Tech. Admission in any participating institutes.
- The candidate should apply separately to the respective Institute(s) for M.Tech. admission.
- Each participating Institute will follow the selection procedure as per the norms and guidelines of the respective Institute.
