IIM Admission 2026. IIMs MBA Placement 2025 & PGP SIP

IIM Placement 2025 – The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM-L) released the 39th batch of Post Graduate Programme (PGP) and 20th batch of Postgraduate Program in Agribusiness Management (PGP-ABM) students, over 600 offers were made to 570 students.

The highest domestic package (CTC) achieved by the student is Rs. 75 lakh, while the highest international package (CTC) reached Rs. 65 lakh. The average salary offered is Rs. 32.3 lakh.

The first IIM was opened in 1960 at Joka in Calcutta, followed by the 2nd – IIM Ahmedabad, in 1961. After a long gap the IIM Bangalore came in 1973, followed by Lucknow in 1984, IIM Kozhikode and IIM Indore in 1996. The IIMs are considered premiere Business Schools not just in India but globally.

IIM Calcutta placement 2023: Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM C, IIM Calcutta), recently completed the final placement process for the 58th batch of its flagship 2 year MBA program,  IIM Calcutta is one of the country’s oldest B Schools and first MBA College of the IIM Family.  The average salary offered is Rs. 35.07 Lakh per annum, the highest in the country for the batch 2021 -2023.

IIM Ahmedabad PGP-FABM, Food and Agri-Business Management Programme has been ranked number 1 in the world, by a France-based ranking agency Eduniversal – an Annual ranking of Business Schools and Universities spread across 150 countries.

At present there are 20 IIMs in India which are commonly classified under three sections broadly – Old, New and Baby IIMs. All IIMs consider CAT (Common Admission Test) conducted by IIMs. Some IIMs also accept GMAT for International Students. Presently approx. 5100+ seats are offered by IIMs.
