CCMAT 2024: The Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology has published the schedule for Centralized Counselling for M Tech (CCMT) 2024 on its official website. Coordinated by SVNIT, the CCMT 2024 registration for regular rounds commences on May 24, accessible through ccmt.admissions.nic.in.
Similar to IIM’s CAP, IIT COAP. CCMT is an initiative by NITs for the common admissions to M Tech in all the 51 NITs/ Other Engineering college across the country. Candidate can apply Online. Start of Online Registration, Fee Payment and Online Choice Filling June 7 (Mon), 2021 and last date to apply is June 28 (Mon), 2021 at 17:00 hrs.

About CCMT : CCMT is a common platform for candidates to apply for M.Tech./ M.Arch./ M.Plan./M.Des. programmes, based on their GATE score of years 2020, 2021 and 2022, in all NITs, IIEST Shibpur, and some IIITs & GFTIs (For details, please refer the list of Participating Institutes on CCMT website).
CCMT 2024 consists of two counselling rounds: regular and special.
Candidates can register until June 7, with choice filling and fee payment resolution closing on June 10. The result for round 1 seat allotment will be declared on June 12.
CCMT facilitates online admission and counselling for MTech, MArch, MPlan programs across institutions like NITs, IEST Shibpur, eight IIITs, NIFFT Ranchi, and others.

Eligibility Criteria
A candidate to be eligible for M.Tech./M.Arch./M. Plan. programme:
- Must have a valid GATE Score of the year 2022/2023/2024.
- Candidates should have passed the qualifying degree from a recognized University/Institute and secured at least 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 60% for GEN / EWS / OBC, whereas 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55% in case of SC / ST / PwD candidates. Conversion from CGPA to percentage or vice versa given by individual Institute/university will not be considered / allowed.
- Only primary mode of evaluation (CGPA or percentage) as mentioned in the qualifying degree certificate/mark sheet shall be considered while verifying eligibility.
- Conversion from CGPA to percentage or vice versa given by individual Institute/university will not be allowed.
- In case, result of qualifying degree is awaited, provisional admission is permitted to a candidate subject to meeting above minimum qualifying degree requirements latest by September 15, 2022. In these cases, all exams should have been completed by July 15, 2022.
- A certificate from the head of current institute (format given in the CCMT website) to that effect should be submitted during document verification.
Work Experience
Sponsored candidates should have a minimum experience of two years in the relevant field from the same organization and must be sponsored by their employers.
SVNIT releases CCMT 2024 counselling schedule for M Tech Admission
Short-listing / Selection Criteria: The admission to M.Tech. / M.Arch. Programmes under Sponsored category will be based on written test /online personal Interview conducted by the respective departments. Mere call for Test and Interview does not guarantee admission.
Original Certificates to be produced at the time of admission:
1. Admission letter received from NIT, Surat
2. Degree/provisional certificate
3. Consolidated Grade or mark sheet of qualifying degree examinations
4. Transfer certificate issued by the institute last studied
5. Migration certificate
6. OBC/EWS certificate issued on or after 01.04.2022 by the competent authority, if applicable
7. SC/ST certificate issued by the competent authority, if applicable
8. Certificate for PWD candidates issued by the Medical Board notified under PWD Act.
