IIM CAP Registration 2024: IIMs Admission, Fees, average Salary

Updated as on Dec 28, 2023. IIM CAP 2024: he Common Admission Process or CAP is a single-window MBA admission process designed for the new IIMs. The 10 IIMs including IIM Bodh Gaya, Kashipur, Ranchi, Raipur, Sirmaur, Sambalpur, Trichy, Udaipur, Nagpur and Jammu are participating in the IIM CAP 2024.

IIM Kashipur is Coordinating New IIM CAP 2024 for admission 2024-26 batch.

Eligible candidates can fill out the CAP 2024 registration form by visiting the official website- cap2023.iimu.ac.in. The last date to fill CAP 2024 registration form is yet to be announced. After closing of CAP registration window, Personal Interview (PI) round will take place. CAP Personal Interview will be conducted in three phases.

IIM CAP 2023 Registration: IIM CAP 2023 is being conducted in the month of February-March by one of the new IIMs. Last year it was conducted by IIM Raipur.  The selection process shall consist of 2 phase – Writing Ability Test (WAT) & Personal Interview (PI).  IIM Ranchi, which was coordinating the Common Admission Process 2023.

IIM Udaipur Opens IIM CAP 2023 Registration

There is no need to separately appear in PI and WAT for each of the participating IIMs (New and baby IIMs) as the scores of CAP 2023 are applicable for all the participating IIMs.

CAP 2023 Participating IIMs : Out of total 13 new and baby IIMs, 9 IIMs are participating in new IIM Admission process.  MBA admission 2023 in 9 new & baby IIMs, the Common Admission Process (CAP) will be conducted by IIM Tiruchirappalli. IIM Rohtak, IIM Amritsar, IIM Nagpur & IIM Visakhapatnam Not to participate in CAP 2023. Out of the six new IIMs, five IIMs namely IIM Kashipur, Raipur, Ranchi, Trichy and Udaipur are participating.

CAP 2023 Shortlist: The CAP participating IIMs had an intake of 2700+ seats last year for 9 IIMs. It is expected that the intake will increase this year and based on the increased number of seats , it is projected that 17,000+ candidates who appeared and qualified the sectional and overall cut offs based on the CAT 2022 results.

IIM CAP 2024 registration is likely to begin in January 2024. Candidates can register themselves by logging on to the hosting IIM’s website. IIM CAP 2023 was conducted by IIM Kashipur. Here are the easy steps to register for IIM CAP 2024:
