Updated as on Jan 03, 2023. GATE 2023: Organizing Institute for GATE 2023 is the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT K). GATE Exam Organizing by six Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT). These 6 IITs are IIT Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Chennai, Roorkee & Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India on the rotational basis. GATE 2023 will be conducted by IIT Kanpur. More than 13 lakh students every year sat in GATE Exam for 29 subjects.

Organising Institute for GATE 2023 is the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT K). GATE Exam is the gateway to take Admission in M. Tech program for IITs, NITs and other top Institutes across the country.. With two new subjects introduced, GATE 2022 will be conducted for 27 subjects including Environmental Science and Engineering (ES) and Humanities and Social Sciences (XS). The examination would be a Computer Based Test (CBT).
GATE Exam 2023 Registration Starts From Aug 30, IIT Kanpur to Host
What is the format of the GATE Exam 2023?
The duration of the examination is three hours and the computer-based test will comprise multiple choice questions (MCQs), multiple select questions (MSQs), and/or numerical questions. Out of the total 100 marks, Engineering Mathematics-based questions will account for 13 marks, General Aptitude for 15 marks, and the core subject for 72 marks. GATE Exam is held in a total of 29 different disciplines for the aspirants.

GATE 2023 Eligibility
Education: Candidates who have completed graduation or are in their third or higher year of an undergraduate degree are eligible. Those who have/are pursuing a degree in engineering, technology, architecture, science, commerce, or arts can apply.
Nationality: Candidates should be citizens of India to apply for GATE. Those from Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Singapore, or the UAE are also eligible.

GATE International Examination Centre: GATE 2023 Examination will be conducted in the following cities: Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), Colombo (Sri Lanka), Dhaka (Bangladesh), Dubai (UAE), Kathmandu (Nepal), Singapore.
CCMT NIT M Tech Admission 2022
A coloured print hard copy of the GATE 2023 admit card is to be carried and one valid id proof (in original) which can be aadhar card / voter id / PAN card / college id / employee id / driving license.
International registered candidates are required to carry their passport / college id / government issued id / employee id for identification purposes.
A virtual calculator will be provided to participants.
New Subjects In GATE 2023: The 2023 edition of GATE exam will see some changes, including introduction of two new subjects — Environmental Science and Engineering, or ES, and Humanities and Social Science, or XS.
Maximum Two papers in GATE 2023: A candidate may appear either in ONE or TWO subject papers. For candidates who choose Two papers, the combination must be from the approved list of combinations and subject to the availability of infrastructure and date.
GATE 2023: IIT Kharagpur To Conduct Graduate Aptitude Test In Engineering Next Year: GATE held as an annual test to shortlist candidates for admission to postgraduate programmes in engineering or science with scholarship and assistantship from the Ministry of Education (MoE) will be organised by IIT Kharagpur next year. GATE is conducted in eight zones in India jointly by Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore and seven Indian Institutes of Technology, or IITs, (Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) with one organising institute on a rotational basis.
A candidate who is currently studying in the 3rd or higher years of any undergraduate degree program.
A candidate who has already completed any government approved degree program in Engineering / Technology / Architecture / Science / Commerce / Arts is eligible for appearing in the GATE 2023 exam.
However, the candidates who possess certification from any of the professional societies must ensure that those examinations conducted by the societies are approved by MoE/AICTE/UGC/UPSC as equivalent to B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Arch. / B.Planning, etc.
Candidates who have obtained / are pursuing their qualifying degree from countries other than India: Must be currently in the 3rd or higher years or completed their Bachelor’s degree (duration: at least 3 years) in Engineering / Technology / Science / Arts / Commerce.
