Want to know why many students ditch IIM A, B, C or L if they are shortlisted by FMS Delhi? Surprised? Don’t be! As they have some solid reason to do that.
IIM Ahmedabad undoubtedly has been the most popular and continuously top ranked management institute in country, while we have witnessed since past few years IIM B beat IIM A in some of the rankings including FT Global Ranking and NIRF Ranking for the 1st position. Similarly, IIM C and IIM L closely followed by IIM Indore and Kozhikode as the top B Schools and most sought after.
As per the latest NIRF Ranking released by Government of India FMS Delhi ranked 35 and rest 3 are in top 3 spot from past 4 years.
But, many students prefer FMS Delhi over these top institutes if they have an option to select between these.
Compare IIM Ahmedabad vs IIM Bangalore vs IIM Calcutta vs Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi.
Why? Well, FMS Delhi, one of the oldest Business School of country, with quality faculty members and with an almost negligible fee, offers unmatched ROI when compared to these IIMs.
A fee structure of INR 2 lacs at FMS can never be compared to fees in the range of INR 22-23 lacs at the IIMs. Advantage is not just the almost-nil fees; the average compensation offered by FMS Delhi is also at par with the IIMs in consideration. One does not need to pay EMI for his loans and on top of it, also enjoy the same salary offered to a pass-out of these top IIMs.
After passing out, while others are paying back the bank loans, FMS offers the freedom to splurge and/or make a saving. Buy your favourite car or invest in the property, go for Europe trip or do whatever you always wanted to with that saving. Sounds like dream come true? But that’s the reality for FMS Delhi pass-outs.
Only difference which one may find is the infrastructure or experience. But, people who opt for FMS do so knowing fully well and being aware that facilities at FMS may not be at par with these IIMs. Do they care as long as the basics are in place and placements are at par?
