As of now the highest Stipend offered in the country is by IIM Calcutta which is 7.5 Lakh it surpassed the earlier highest stipend offered record of Rs. 7 lakh for the XLRI Jamshedpur students. Stipend for the duration of 2 months.

The highest domestic stipend was Rs 3.75 lakh per month and the top 25 percentile of the batch received an average stipend of Rs 2.31 lakh per month.
XLRI Summer Internship batch 2023-25: Highest stipend Rs. 7 Lakh
Despite the challenging market conditions, IIM Calcutta closed the summer internship placement cycle for first-year students on October 18 by securing 513 offers for 466 students of the flagship two-year MBA programme.
The students received an average stipend of Rs. 1.65 lakh per month and the median stipend went as high as Rs. 1.7 lakh per month, both being an institute record despite the macro-economic conditions, the statement said on Wednesday.

IIM Calcutta showed great character in upholding its culture of “leaving no one behind” as it ensured placements for all the candidates who opted in for the placement process, the statement added.

IIM Calcutta Summer Placement 2024 batch: Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM C) has completed its summer internship placement for the 59th batch, comprising 470 students, by securing close to 540 offers. Consulting and finance accounted for nearly 59% of the total hires.
