SNAP 2026 will continue to have 60 questions in 60 minutes, but the section-wise breakup has changed. General English has been reduced from 15 to 10 questions, Analytical & Logical Reasoning from 25 to 20 questions, while Quant remains at 20 questions.

Key Dates & Schedule According to the official schedule, registration begins on Aug 21, 2026, and closes on Nov 25, 2026. The test will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across 79 cities in three separate sessions:

Multiple Attempts Allowed: Candidates can attempt up to all 3 sessions. SIU will automatically consider the best/highest score among all attempts for shortlisting.
Revised Test Structure: The exam retains its speed-based 60-minute duration with 60 multiple-choice questions. A new section—Ethics, Morality and Values—has been introduced. Question weightages across the existing General English and Analytical/Logical Reasoning sections have been redistributed to accommodate it.
Registration & Program Fee: The SNAP test registration fee is ₹2,550 per attempt. Candidates applying to specific SIU institutes must additionally pay ₹1,000 per MBA program chosen.
