The Admission Process Flow
- Stage 1 (Shortlisting): Candidates are initially screened based on their CAT, XAT, or SNAP percentiles. Sectional cut-offs often apply (especially at IIFT and IIMs).
- Stage 2 (Evaluation): Shortlisted candidates undergo further testing, which usually includes:
- WAT (Writing Ability Test): Often based on global current affairs or trade topics.
- Group Discussion (GD) / Extempore: Focuses on communication and logical thinking.
- Personal Interview (PI): Evaluates your awareness of international business trends and career goals.
- Stage 3 (Final Selection): The final merit list is calculated using weighted scores from entrance exams (approx. 40–50%), PI performance (30–40%), and academic/gender diversity (10–20%).
