VGSoM with NMIMS Mumbai vs IIM Ranchi vs IIM Trichy for the MBA HRM programme – are among the top Business Schools of the country and are NIRF Rank holders for 2023. Amongst these NMIMS was formed in 1980 and is considered as the oldest in the comparison.

Vinod Gupta school of Management, IIT Kharagpur (VGSoM) is the first among the IITs in India to start offering management education. Their MBA in Business Analytics is offered along with ISI Kolkata, IIM Calcutta which is a 2 year PGDM course in PGDBA (Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics). VGSOM also offers Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM).

VGSOM, IIM Ranchi and IIM Trichy all accept CAT Score while NMIMS Mumbai accept NMIMS’ own NMAT test score conducted by NMAT by GMAC.
In terms of Fees, NMIMS fees are highest with Rs 23 Lakh followed with Rs 18 Lakh of Trichy, Rs 15.50 Lakh for IIM Ranchi whereas, VGSoM Fees are the lowest with Rs 11.50 Lakh.

While comparing the Placement Avg Salary of VGSOM is at Rs 22.50 LPA, next is NMIMS at Rs 19.56LPA.. Avg CTC of IIM Ranchi is Rs 16.30 LPA and of IIM Trichy is Rs 15.80 LPA.
ROI wise VGSOM KGP is the best option, closely followed by IIM Ranchi,Trichy while in placement, learning experience and campus life, all three are almost similar and at par.
