1. XIME Bangalore – A Day to Remember!
The process was held in Delhi, and honestly—it was one of the most welcoming and well-organized interview days I’ve had.

The Day Began…
Around 40–50 of us were there. It started with a warm welcome from someone from the Admissions team who gave us a brief overview of XIME—its vision, values, and journey so far.
Then a senior faculty member took us through the academic framework and what life at XIME looks like. A seasoned alumnus also spoke, and their perspective added so much depth to our understanding of the place.
Clear Instructions & Q&A
They walked us through the entire GD-PI process and shared the evaluation criteria in detail. No fluff. Everything was well explained. Even the parents who were present got involved in the Q&A session—it felt really inclusive and community-like.
GD Round: “AI – Job Creator or Destroyer?”
We were split into groups of about 15. My GD topic was super relevant: “AI – Will it create jobs or take them away?”
What I loved? It wasn’t a shouting match. Everyone had something insightful to say—from automation and ethics to how AI may reshape (not erase) jobs. A very engaging discussion overall!
Personal Interview – More of a Conversation
The PI was relaxed and non-technical. They asked about:
- My academic background
- Career plans
- Why I chose XIME
- My undergrad experience at O.P. Jindal Global University
It really felt like they were trying to understand who I am—not just what I know.

2. N L. Dalmia CT- PI Experience – Honest & Real
CT-PI day at N. L. Dalmia panned out on April 4, 2025. If you’re looking for a first-hand perspective, here’s mine—real and straight up.
The Prep
I brushed up on finance, management basics, my projects, and current affairs. I was more confident about the PI, but still practiced CT case prompts just in case.
A Long Wait…
The CT was at 11:00 AM, PI at 11:30—but I had to wait in the Zoom waiting room for ages, which kind of threw off my rhythm.
Critical Thinking Round
The CT round was all about how you think, not just what you know. I was given a scenario and had to speak on it for a minute or two. I kept it simple, structured, and logical.
Personal Interview – Straight to Business
This PI was very technical. No warm-up. They asked:
- “What is GDP?”
- “Who’s the Governor of RBI?”
- “How does RBI regulate the economy?”
- Questions about my internship and tools I used
They weren’t looking for vague answers—they wanted precision. I had to admit I didn’t know one of the answers, and they were cool with that. Honesty, I realized, goes a long way.

3. Experience at JIMS Rohini – Positive Vibes Only!
GD-PI process at Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS), Rohini, and it was a refreshingly smooth and positive experience.
Pre-Interview Clarity
They sent out a detailed email with everything we needed to know—schedule, GD-PI format, document checklist, and even tips. Really helped settle the nerves.
The Interview Day
In-person interactions are always nicer, and this day confirmed that. After registration, we had a warm briefing by the admissions team, Director, and even a 2002 alum. The way they spoke about JIMS made it feel genuine and inspiring.
GD Round: “Work from Home – Boon or Bane?”
A classic topic. Our GD had 9 members. I made sure to:
- Speak 2–3 times
- Use real-life examples
- Stay respectful and attentive
The panel noted everything—teamwork, articulation, body language. I think I struck a good balance.
Personal Interview
This PI felt more personal and reflective. They asked:
- About my academics
- Internships and goals
- Why MBA, and why now
- A few problem-solving questions
No intense grilling—just a thoughtful conversation.
The Campus Tour
We even got to tour the campus afterward—and wow, the infrastructure was modern and super student-friendly. It left a great impression.
