IMDR Pune Admission 2026. Applications Open
Important for students who may have missed or scored low in CAT / XAT etc.
Conducted nationwide in an online, objective format, ATMA is recognized by the AICTE and the Ministry of Education, Government of India, making it one of the most widely accepted management entrance tests across states. MBA aspirants who are not satisfied with CAT / XAT scores or have missed both tests should definitely consider ATMA as their next best options
ATMA is generally considered a moderate to difficult exam, with section-wise variation in toughness.
- Quantitative Skills: Often rated the toughest, especially due to topics like data interpretation, modern
mathematics, and geometry. - Analytical Reasoning: Moderate, but requires speed and accuracy in logical reasoning.
- Verbal Skills: Usually the easiest section, though vocabulary and comprehension can be tricky.
Team Campusutra’s Assessment of ATMA : ATMA is not meant to measure achievement in any specific field but rather to benchmark aptitude for higher management education. This makes it less intimidating than CAT or XAT, but still rigorous enough to serve as a credible national-level test.
Many top B Schools like XLRI Jamshedpur, MDI Gurgaon accept ATMA Scores for Executive MBA / PGDM programmes.
Positioned as a benchmark in management education, ATMA is designed to evaluate aptitude rather than prior subject knowledge. It does not test business expertise or academic achievement in specific fields. Instead, the exam focuses on assessing core skills essential for higher management studies—verbal ability, quantitative aptitude, and analytical reasoning—ensuring a fair and transparent pathway for aspiring students.
