WBJEE 2026: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has officially kicked off the application process for WBJEE 2026. Starting today, March 10, 2026, aspiring students can register for one of the state’s most critical entrance exams.

B Tech Admission 2026: The WBJEEB will hold the WBJEE-2026 for admission to Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture courses of different Universities and Colleges in West Bengal on May 24, 2026 (Sunday). Aspiring candidates are requested to go through the Board’s website at (www.wbjeeb.nic.in  / www.wbjeeb.in ) from time to time for detailed information.

The examination will be conducted in a single day across two sessions (Mathematics and Physics/Chemistry).

B Tech Eligibility Criteria

1. General Requirements

• Citizenship: Must be an Indian citizen or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI).
• Age Limit: Minimum of 17 years as of December 31, 2026 (born on or before December 31, 2009). There is no upper age limit, except for Marine Engineering (max 25 years).

2. Academic Qualification (Engineering)

• Subjects: Must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
• Optional Subject: Any one of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or Informatics Practices.
• Minimum Marks: * General: At least 45% aggregate in the three subjects above.
  • Reserved (SC/ST/OBC/PwD): At least 40% aggregate.
• English: Must have passed English with at least 30% marks.

Specific institutes like Jadavpur University often require higher aggregates (usually 60% for General) for certain branches.

WBJEE Application Fees: The fee structure varies by category and gender. Payments must be made online via Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card, or UPI.

How to Register

1. Visit the official portal: wbjeeb.nic.in.
2. Click on “WBJEE 2026 Registration“ and enter your basic details (Name, Mobile, Email) to generate a password.
3. Fill out the application form with personal and academic details.
4. Upload Documents: Recent color photograph (10–200 KB) and signature (4–30 KB) in JPG/JPEG format.
5. Pay the fee and download the Confirmation Page (this is essential for future reference).
