IIT Bombay secured an overall score of 71 points out of 100. It came in 37th place in the previous year. Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) are also able to claim an athletics position within the 200 top spots this season.
Why Indian Institutions aren’t figuring prominently at World Rankings
A total of 118 Indian institutions have made it into the QS World University rankings Asia 2022. Five Indian Institutes of Technology, IISc, and Delhi University have entered the highly regarded group of Asia’s most prestigious 100 institutions. IIT Bombay ranks 42nd then followed by IIT Delhi (45) and IIT Madras (54).
Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore is ranked in the 56th position, then IIT Kharagpur (60), IIT Kanpur (64), and University of Delhi (77), according to the information published today by QS.
