Hyderabad, June 19, 2024. Vasavi Clubs International (VCI) has organised Train the Trainers Workshop 2024 in Telugu in a hotel in the city.
40 trainers from across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have attended this program.
Train the Trainer is a framework for training potential instructors or subject matter experts to enable them to train other people in their respective areas. This was organised as part of the capacity building the Vasavi Clubs International embarked on.
The program aimed to develop the skills required to be a trainer. recognise the importance of the training cycle. gain knowledge of how adults learn. realise the impact of communication, through confident attitude, voice projection, body language and voice control. The trained trainers will go to the government schools and in turn, train the students on a wide variety of subjects of great importance for their career growth as well as the society, said Ravi Chandran, the International President of VCI. We plan to expand our footprint across the globe, he said
Gampa Nageshwar Rao led the workshop with a group of trainers. Pradeep Kondiparthi known film and tinsel world actor, Sridhar Veeramalla, Labhishetty Mahesh, Dr Vallala Pruthvi Raj, Maryala Chandramouli Guptha, Mrs Badam Kalavathy, Mrs Neela Vijayalakshmi facilitated two days training held at Minerva Hotel in Secunderabad.
Past International President P. Sudarshan, International Secretary Nagabhushana and others graced the inaugural and closing functions.

Vasavi Clubs International made a humble beginning with the first club started in the year 1961 on 1st October with Eleven members at Hyderabad by Late Sri Kalvakuntla Chandrasena Gupta (K.C.Gupta), a Freedom Fighter who could be regarded as not only the Founder but also as the “Father of Vasavi Movement”. Since then it never looked back. Today it has 1915 clubs and 66,758 members. It is a formidable force not just in India but also abroad informed Subodh Gupta, a Regional Chairman of VCI.
The community has given to the nation two legends—Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation and Potti Sriramulu, who gave India Andhra Pradesh by fasting till death.
The community is charitable, industrious, intelligent and God-fearing. The community is also known as Baniyas. Though they are known as traders and was believed that e-commerce and the new-age economy would displace the traditional Baniya stronghold on business. But they proved otherwise. They have managed to dominate the new economy.
