India’s top business schools have begun releasing their Summer Internship Placement (SIP) reports for the MBA/PGDM Class of 2025–27, marking the start of placement season insights.

SPJIMR Mumbai, IIM Lucknow, FMS Delhi, and IIM Bangalore are among the early institutions to publish their SIP outcomes. Notably, SPJIMR Mumbai became the first B-school in the country to release its SIP report for the current batch, setting the pace for transparency and early disclosures.
While IIM Bangalore has shared its summer placement highlights, the institute has opted not to disclose average or highest stipend figures this year. In contrast, other institutes have released detailed metrics, offering a clearer view of sectoral trends and recruiter preferences.

SPJIMR SIP 2025-27 Batch: The Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s S.P. Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR) Mumbai successfully concluded its Summer Internship Placement (SIP) for the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and Post Graduate Diploma in Management Business Management (PGDM BM) Class of 2027.
The 361-member cohort received 425 internship offers from 81 leading companies, including 22 first-time recruiters.

- The median stipend at Rs. 1.71 lakhs per month.
- The top 50% of students received an average of Rs. 2 lakhs per month,

- The highest stipend touched Rs. 2.5 lakhs per month.
IIM Lucknow Summer Placement 2027 batch: The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM L or IIM Lucknow) recorded Rs. 3.95 lakh per month as the highest stipend, Rs. 2.5 lakh as the highest international stipend offered and the average stipend is Rs. 1.67 lakh per month.

FMS Delhi MBA SIP Report 2027 : The Faculty of Management Studies – University of Delhi (FMS DU) has successfully completed its summer placement process (SIP) for the MBA Batch of 2027, achieving a 100% placement record. Recently IIM Lucknow released the summer placements for the batch 2025 -27.
This year’s placement season set new milestones across several key metrics. The highest stipend stood at Rs. 2.5 lakhs per month while the average stipend touched an all-time high of Rs. 1.7 lakhs per month, a 27% rise from last year. The median stipend was recorded at Rs. 1.75 lakhs per month.
FMS Delhi MBA Summer Internship Placement (SIP) Report 2027 Batch
IIM Bangalore Summer Placement 2027 batch: The Summer Placement process (SIP) for the PGP and PGP-BA 2025-27 cohorts at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM Bangalore) successfully concluded with all 601 participating students securing offers from 137 organizations during the placement week from October 13-18, 2025. Students received offers across diverse domains, including Consulting, Finance, Product Management, Sales and Marketing, General Management, and Analytics.
Marking a record high, Management Consulting accounted for 46% of all offers, up from 38% last year. Roles in Investment Banking and E-commerce domains, in particular, saw a notable increase, while offers from the Healthcare sector rose by over 70% (23 offers). Nearly 30% of the participating organisations were first-time recruiters.
