Kirloskar Institute Management (KIM) was set up in 1991 by the Kirloskar Group in Harihar. KIAMS offers specializations such as Business Analytics, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Family Business and Entrepreneurship, and Operations.In 1998, KIM ventured into training bright, young minds in high-quality management education to meet the managerial leadership needs of the country. This was offered as a two-year fully residential Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) in Harihar. Encouraged by the success of its alumni in the industry, KIM opened its second campus in Pune in 2010. Both campuses are approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

KIM Scholarship is awarded to meritorious students as follows:
Students from CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ MAT entrance exams having 95 percentile and above are eligible for a concession of Rs. 1,00,000/- in the total course fee- Students from CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ MAT entrance exams having from 90 up to less than 95 percentile are eligible for a concession of Rs. 60,000/- in the total course fee.
KIM Admission Test (KIMAT): KIMAT is a Computer Based Test (CBT). Each candidate who applies for PGDM 4.0 Program at KIM with CAT/XAT/GMAT/MHCET/KCET will be called for KIMAT, subject to their application form being complete and accepted by KIM.
