How to Register for vit entrance exam 2026
The entire process is conducted online via the official portal:
- New User VITEEE Registration: Enter your name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID.
- Login: Use the password sent to your registered email/mobile.
- Fill Application: Provide personal, academic (Class 12 details), and contact information.
- Fee Payment: Pay the non-refundable fee of ₹1,350 using Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card, or UPI. (NRI candidates pay 90 USD).
- Document Upload: Upload a scanned copy of your recent color photograph and signature.
- Submission: Review all details and submit. Save a copy of the generated application for future reference.

VIT Entrance Exam 2026 Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Indian Resident, NRI, PIO, or OCI holder.
- Age Limit: Candidates must be born on or after July 1, 2004.
- Qualifying Marks: A minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in Class 12.
- Note: Candidates from SC/ST, North-Eastern states, Jammu & Kashmir, and Ladakh require a minimum aggregate of 50%.
- Subject Requirements: PCM candidates are eligible for all B Tech programs; PCB candidates are eligible for Bio-stream programs (e.g., Biotechnology, Bio-engineering).

For 2026, VIT has introduced a negative marking system.
- Correct Answer: +4 marks
- Incorrect Answer: -1 mark
- Total Questions: 125 (Maths/Bio: 40, Physics: 35, Chemistry: 35, Aptitude: 10, English:5).
