IPM Eligibility Criteria

• Age: Maximum 20 years as of August 1, 2026.
• Qualifying Exam: Passed Class 12 (HSC) in 2025 or appearing in 2026.
• Mandatory Subject: You must have studied Mathematics or Applied Mathematics as a compulsory subject in Class 12.
• Minimum Marks: * General/OBC/EWS: Minimum 60% in both Class 10 and Class 12. SC/ST/PwD: Minimum 55% in both Class 10 and Class 12.

IPM Admission Process

1. Entrance Exam: Register and appear for IPMAT 2026 (conducted by IIM Indore).
2. IIM Amritsar Application: Apply separately on the IIM Amritsar website using your IPMAT registration number.
3. Shortlisting: Candidates are called for a Personal Interview (PI) based on their Aptitude Test Score (ATS).
4. Final Merit List: The final composite score is typically calculated as:
   • Aptitude Test Score (IPMAT): 75%
   • Personal Interview (PI): 25%
