JEE Advanced Eligibility Criteria
- JEE Main Performance: You must be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories) in the B.E./B.Tech. paper (Paper 1) of JEE Main 2026.
- Age Limit: You must have been born on or after October 1, 2001.
- SC, ST, and PwD candidates receive a 5-year relaxation (born on or after October 1, 1996).
- Number of Attempts: You can attempt JEE Advanced a maximum of two times in two consecutive years.
- Appearance in Class 12: You must have appeared for your Class 12 (or equivalent) for the first time in either 2025 or 2026. If you appeared in 2024 or earlier, you are generally ineligible (unless your board results were released after June 18, 2024).
- IIT Admission History: You must not have been admitted to an IIT in the past (regardless of whether you continued the course or not).

JEE Advanced Registration Process
- Login: Access the official website at jeeadv.ac.in. Use your JEE Main Application Number and password to log in.
- Data Sync: Most of your personal details will be pulled automatically from the JEE Main database.
- Choices: Select your preferred exam cities (usually 8 choices) and the language of the question paper (English or Hindi).
- Upload Documents: You will need to upload your Class 10 certificate, Class 12 certificate, and Category/PwD certificates (if applicable).
- Payment: Complete the transaction via the online gateway to generate your Registration Confirmation Page.
