Updated as on 12:05 PM. This year, the CBSE class 10 passing percentage stood at 99.04%. Among the district-wise rankings, Trivandrum topped the national tally with an impressive 99.99 per cent! However, due to some issue with the academic records, the class 10th results of some 16,000 students were yet to be prepared. The CBSE has said that the results of such students will be announced at later date. While there was a marked jump in the passing percentage as compared with the last year, over 17,000 students have been placed under the compartment category. These students will need to sit for an offline-mode exam on August 16, the CBSE said.

How to understand the CBSE result key? Worried about the abbreviations in your scorecard? Here’s the solution. While N.R stands for not registered, XXXX means improvement; ABSET stands for absent, COMP is for compartment, SJD is an abbreviation of sub-judice; UFM is for unfair means used; RL is for results later. The last one is RW, which means result withheld.
