Dr. Prasada Rao, brings extensive academic and administrative experience to the role, having previously held senior academic leadership positions at prominent business schools. A distinguished academician, institution builder, and management educator with over 35 years of exemplary experience in higher education, Dr. Prasada Rao’s illustrious career reflects a significant commitment to academic excellence, innovative teaching, institutional transformation, quality assurance, and leadership development.

Prior to joining CMR University, Prof. Dr. Rao served as Dean, Centre for Teaching and Learning at WeSchool, Mumbai; Founding Dean, School of Commerce and Management at MBU; and Founder Director, Teaching Learning Centre at Sharda University, Greater Noida. Earlier, during his distinguished association of nearly 25 years with GITAM University, he held several strategic leadership positions, including, Founder Director of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell, Founder Director of the Centre for Distance Learning, Founder Dean and Director of Hyderabad Business School, Director of Academic Affairs and Director of the Centre for Learning and Sustainability.
