The Master of Business Administration (MBA) at IIT Roorkee is a regular residential program spread over two academic years divided into eight terms. Programme offered are MBA Marketing, MBA Finance, MBA HRM, MBA Operations, MBA Information Systems and MBA General Management. The Department offers dual specialization in any two of the following:

Eligibility Criteria
- Graduation or a professional qualification equivalent to that of University degree recognized by UGC, in any discipline with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC / ST / PwD), in addition a CAT 2024 score is mandatory. Final year students are also eligible to apply. Such candidates, if selected, will be admitted provisionally, provided they complete all requirements for the qualifying degree with minimum percentage and CGPA or its equivalent by the specified date that will be intimated later. The percentage will be considered on the basis of aggregate marks / CGPA awarded in qualifying degree examination. OR\
- IIT graduates (admitted through IIT-JEE) with a CGPA 7.0 or above on 10-point scale are exempted from the requirement of CAT 2024.

Shortlisting Criteria
- Initial shortlisting of candidates, for sending the invitation letters for Interviews shall be done based on their performance in CAT.
- JEE or JEE (Adv.) qualified IIT Graduates with CGPA 7 and above on a 10-point scale will be exempted from CAT and will be directly called for a Personal Interview.
- A common merit list shall be prepared on the basis of scores of selection criteria for releasing the offer letters. Invitation letters shall be sent to the shortlisted candidates for Interviews through email. This information will also be available on the Institute’s website.
- Interviews are tentatively scheduled in March 2025 at IIT Roorkee only. Interviews may be conducted online based on conditions due to the pandemic.
