Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) Delhi released final placement report for the batch 2017-19 with an average salary of INR 23.2 Lac per annum, an increase of INR 2.1 Lac from last year, according to report. Last year average salary was INR 21.1 Lac per annum.
The average salary of for the women students witnessed a steep rise by 18% to INR 25.1 lac per annum.
The entire class of 2017-19 at Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) Delhi received offers. The average stipend for the top 100 students of the batch increased to INR 27 Lac per annum from INR 26 lakh per annum last year. A quarter of the students accepted offers in sales and marketing. Some of the prominent recruiters this year include Nestle, Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), ITC, Reckitt Benckiser, BMW and Google.
There was a record 140% increase in the e-commerce/IT/Operation roles compared to last year with 54 accepted offers from recruiters like Amazon, UBER, Paytm and Microsoft. 25% offers were from these four companies. From the batch of 216 students, 198 appeared for the placements and received 210 offers. The remaining 18 students signed out of the placement process to pursue entrepreneurial ventures of their own, according to the institute.
