Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) had issued a notice in regard to Round 1 UG Counselling 2022. The committee had asked the candidates can resign from their seat of Round 1 till November 1, 2022 up to 5 pm after which they will be considered as part of Round 2 of counselling.

As per the notice, “In reference to Round-1 of UG Counselling 2022, Reporting is scheduled to end on 28th Oct, 2022. It is for your information that candidates can resign the seat of Round-1 till 05:00 P.M of 1st November, 2022 after which they will be considered as part of Round 2 and same rules will apply on them as applicable for Round- 2 of counselling.”

MCC Notice on Resignation of Seats: Further it mentioned that candidates are to ensure that their Resignation Letter is generated online through the MCC website, mcc.nic.in, allotted by colleges and failing to do so, the resignation letter will be considered Null and Void. It read, “. In such a case, candidate will be deemed to occupy the seat still, and rules of Round-2 will apply. Any letter other than Resignation Letter generated through online portal will not be considered as ‘Resignation Letter’. In case candidate is resigning by sending email to college, s/he should make sure that they receive Resignation Letter generated through online portal of MCC.
