Imagine someone who has been working hard, shedding sweat and blood, practicing day and night, waiting for 4 long years for the D Day to come – to perform and then it is delayed again by a year. Frustration was obvious. But finally the Tokyo Olympics 2020 (now being held in 2021) commences after one year delay due to the COVID 19 pandemic. The Olympic Games is all set to take thunder out of every sports person and sports enthusiast. The 32nd edition of the opening ceremony of the Games was held on July 23 at Tokyo while the closing ceremony will be held on August 8.
The Indian squad looks promising and we hope to break the London Olympics record for medals. A total of 119 athletes (67 are male and 52 are female) are participating in the official contingent, representing India. Out of the 119 Indian athletes, participants.
