The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) inaugurated the 12th batch of its Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGP) in Management – Kochi Campus, for the academic years 2025–2027. The induction ceremony was held at the IIM Kozhikode campus, with Mr. Shraman Jha, CEO of Hindustan Unilever Foundation, serving as the Chief Guest.

The incoming EPGP 12 cohort, comprising 203 participants, marks the largest executive MBA batch at IIMK’s satellite campus to date. The participants bring with them an average of 8 years of professional experience. This diverse cohort also includes six international candidates, while women professionals account for 25% of the batch strength. To cater to the growing demand from professionals outside Kerala, the programme structure features one weekend cohort delivered in physical mode and two weekday cohorts conducted online. Notably, over 76% of the batch participants come from outside the state.
Professionals from IT/ITES (33%), Manufacturing (12%), Sales and Marketing (12%), Government Sector and PSUs (8%), and Healthcare and Education (3%) form the bulk of the cohort. Other sectors represented include Banking and Finance, Logistics and Supply Chain, as well as entrepreneurship.
Addressing the new cohort, Mr. Shraman Jha shared valuable lessons from his personal and professional journey, emphasizing that education remains the most enduring investment. He encouraged the participants to view this as a pivotal moment to reskill and embrace new possibilities with IIM Kozhikode’s support. Highlighting the lifelong importance of learning and networking, he also stressed the need for adaptability in today’s fast-changing world. Mr. Jha touched upon pressing global challenges such as climate change and sustainability, pointing out that water and climate are intrinsically linked and must be considered critical factors 
in business decisions. He urged the participants to be proactive leaders who address such challenges with foresight and humanity.

Senior faculty members including Prof. Sebastian MP (Dean – Faculty & Administration), Prof. Anandakuttan B Unnithan (Dean – Programmes), Prof. Venkataraman S (Associate Dean, Kochi Campus), and Prof. Joshy Joseph (Chairperson, IIMK Kochi Campus) also addressed the gathering and formally welcomed the new cohort into the IIMK community.
