- Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the IIM Ahmedabad PGP 2027–29 admission cycle, candidates must meet the following baseline conditions:
- Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA). For candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories, the minimum requirement is 45%.
- Final Year Students: Candidates currently in the final year of their Bachelor’s degree (or awaiting final results) are eligible to apply provisionally, provided they produce proof of completing all degree requirements before the deadline stipulated by the institute.
- Age Limit: No upper age limit applies.

Candidates who meet the category-wise qualifying CAT percentiles are shortlisted for the Analytical Writing Test (AWT) and Personal Interview (PI) based on a Composite Score (CS).

Stage 2: AWT & Personal Interview (PI)
Shortlisted applicants participate in in-person or virtual interview panels across major metro cities, where they undergo:
- Analytical Writing Test (AWT): A written evaluation assessing structured reasoning and clarity of thought (20–30 minutes).
- Personal Interview (PI): A structured discussion with faculty evaluators testing domain awareness, general knowledge, and leadership potential.

- Actual Call Cutoff: Due to intense competition, the actual CAT percentile required to receive an AWT-PI call for General Category candidates typically falls in the 99.5+ to 99.8+ percentile range, depending on profile strength and academic diversity.

Fees Structure & Seats
- Total Seat Intake: The flagship PGP program offers approximately 390–400 seats across all categories, strictly adhering to Central Educational Institutions reservation norms (NC-OBC, SC, ST, EWS, and PwD).
- Fee Structure: The total tuition and institutional fee for the two-year residential PGP program is estimated between ₹25 Lakhs and ₹27.5 Lakhs. This covers tuition, course material, library facilities, hostel accommodation, and campus infrastructure access. Financial assistance and Need-Based Scholarships are offered to eligible students after enrollment.
