Stanford GSB Retains Top Spot as Global Competition Intensifies

Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB) claimed the #1 position in the 2026 global ranking, closely followed by Harvard Business School (#2) and The Wharton School (#3). Europe’s INSEAD ranked #4, while India’s Indian School of Business (ISB) secured the #5 position globally.

More than half (53 of 100) of the top-ranked MBA programs are located outside the United States, illustrating the expanding international footprint of business education and executive recruiting.
