The final placements for the Postgraduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) Programme of IIM Calcutta, ISI and IIT Kharagpur for the PGDBA 2017-2019 batch saw the 52 students receiving altogether 66 offers from 35 firms, with the average salary going up to INR 25.05 Lac per annum, a press release issued by IIT Kharagpur said on Tuesday. MHRD letter stating that premier B-schools can’t offer 1 year post graduate degree programmes as per the UGC regulations poses a threat to te IIM’s which offer One Year MBA Programme. Total of 398 students graduated from the No. 2 ranked business school in India by NIRF, which include 379 from PGP, 11from dual degree and 8 from dual degree students.
