CAT 2024 Registration: The Indian Institutes of Management Calcutta (IIMC or IIM Calcutta) have activated the website link for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024. The registration process for CAT 2024 will begin at 10 am on August 1 and conclude at 3 pm on September 13.

The admit cards for the exam will be out on November 5, 2024. CAT 2024 Exam has been scheduled for November 24, 2024. IIM Calcutta is the organising institute for this exam. Interested and eligible candidates can register on the official website, iimcat.ac.in.
Individuals who hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% aggregate marks (or 45% for those in reserved categories) are eligible to apply for the exam.
The official website of the CAT 2024 reads, “The CAT 2024 advertisement has been published in several newspapers in multiple languages across the country, however the information contained in the CAT website shall be considered as final.”
IIM Bangalore MBA Placement 2024
The exam is a prerequisite for admission to various postgraduate and fellow/doctorate programmes of IIMs. The scores are also allowed to be used by listed non-IIM member institutions.
The CAT exam will be divided into three sections, each allotted 40 minute mandatory time section, i.e. candidates will not be permitted to switch between sections. Once the time allotted for a section is over then only they will be permitted to other sections.
- Section 1: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
- Section 2: Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning
- Section 3: Quantitative Ability
IIM Calcutta Opens Applications 2025 for One Year Executive MBA
Last year, the exam calendar was released on August 2 and the exam was conducted on November 26 for which a total of 3.28 lakh candidates registered out of which approximately 2.88 lakh candidates appeared for the exam.
IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, IIM Lucknow, IIM Kozhikode and IIM Indore also open application for MBA Admission 2025 with CAT Registrations.
