CAT Exam: The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM-K) has officially 
released the CAT 2025 notification on its website — iimcat.ac.in. This marks the beginning of the much-awaited admission season for MBA 2026-28 aspirants aiming for the IIMs and other top B-schools in India.
CAT 2025 Convenor this year is IIM Kozhikode (Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode).

The CAT exam is conducted for admission to post graduate management programmes offered at 22 IIMs and all other top B Schools of the country. The 20 IIMs include the seven flagship IIMs and 13 newer IIMs. As NITIE gets rechristened, the country will get one more IIM, making the total count to 21.
The most popular and most awaited Management Entrance Test of the country – the CAT 2025 will be a computer-based test to be held on November 30th this year, in three sessions.
The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories], awarded by any University or educational institution as incorporated by an Act of Parliament or State legislature in India or declared to be deemed as an University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

CAT Exam Pattern : The duration of the test will be 120 minutes. There will be three sections:
Section I: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension; Section II: Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning; Section III: Quantitative Ability.

How to Apply: Candidates can apply for CAT online through the official site of IIM CAT. The last date to register for CAT this year is Sep 15, 2025 (Tentative).
Reservation: As per the legal requirements, 15% of the seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates, 7.5% for Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates, 27% for Other Backward Classes candidates belonging to the “Non-Creamy” layer (NC-OBC), up to 10% for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) candidates and 5% for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwD).

ISB Admission 2026: Indian School of Business (ISB) Hyderabad and Mohali opens application for Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) program [Global MBA equivalent], full-time residential program for professionals or the batch 2026.
